WFAN Contest Rules

- Contests are open to all WFAN listeners 18 years of age or older except promotional partners and employees and immediate families of infinity broadcasting, their successors, agents, affiliates or subsidiaries and employees of other radio stations.
- Listeners are eligible to win WFAN contests no more than once every sixty (60) days. One winner per household per contest per sixty (60) days. Listeners are eligible to win a specific WFAN contest (i.e. turning point, flyaway) only once during its run.
- Listeners are eligible to win prizes valued at $600 or more no more than once every eighteen (18) months.
- Prizes are not exchangeable, transferable or refundable. WFAN reserves the right to substitute a prize of equivalent value should a prize or any portion thereof become unavailable due to circumstances beyond the control of WFAN.
- Winners must pick up prizes Monday-Friday 9AM to 5PM at WFAN, 34-12 36th street, astoria new york 11106. Picture identification is required. A prize may be mailed upon the winner’s request. In the event a prize is mailed, it is with the express written consent of the winner and, therefore, at the winner’s risk. WFAN is not responsible for a prize once if has left the radio station via u.s. regular mail. Winners forfeit prizes not claimed within 30 days of winning.
- Payment of any and all federal, state and local taxes is the sole responsibility of the winner. Winners are required to sign a waiver acknowledging acceptance of any prize valued at $600 or more. Winners will receive an IRS 1099 form for prizes valued at $600 or more. The value of the prize will be stated on the waiver and on any and all corresponding tax forms. A winner has the right to forfeit the prize, and another will not be awarded in its place.
- For prizes valued at $600 or more and/or trips, winners and participants must sign a liability waiver prior to receipt of the prize. Pursuant to the liability waiver, winners and participants agree to hold WFAN and infinity broadcasting, their corporate licensees, parent corporations, promotional partners, sponsors and officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims and/or liabilities arising directly or indirectly from the prize and/or contest.
- By participating in contests, winners and participants agree to have their name, voice and/or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to contests and must sign a waiver stating so prior to receipt of the prize.
- There is no purchase necessary to participate in WFAN contests.
- Contests void where prohibited by law.
- Contest rules may vary with individual contests. Contests are governed by these general rules and any additional and/or amended rules. Contest rules are available during regular business hours at WFAN, 34-12 36th Street, Astoria New York 11106 or online at WFAN.com.
- WFAN reserves the right to amend contest rules anytime. Any changes to rules are available in writing and effective upon announcement. The decision of WFAN management with regard to WFAN contests is final. By participating in contests, entrants, winners and guests agree to be bound by contest rules. Failure to comply with contest rules may result in disqualification.
