Mia Missives: Plax Returns to Practice

Plaxico Burress finally hit the practice field this week...which I didn't think I was going to see at this training camp which was a pleasant surprise. He has done 2 days of light work. Walk through style. Some light reps and jogging. Nothing major, but it's a start.
Mia Missives: Carr Driven To Succeed

The sun returned on Tuesday and both practices ran as regularly scheduled. Bumps and bruises are still keeping the team from fully being out on the field as a whole. Amani Toomer missed the morning session because of a swollen knee, as did Derrick Ward.
Mia Missives: Giant Rain Drops

Not a pretty day in Albany. Pouring rains forcing the one practice of the day inside of the Sefcu Arena where they did a walk through type practice that was planned for Tuesday morning. So, weather permitting both of Tuesday's sessions will be regular workouts. But I have checked with my local weather man here and things not looking promising.
Mia Missives: Quiet in the Capital

For all of the Michael Strahan hoop-la that surrounded Giants Training Camp last season...will he or won't he? This year through 15 practices it has been, dare I say, somewhat dull! Not DULL, per se, but with Stra retired, Jeremy getting ready for beads and Mardi Gras, and the team coming off a Super Bowl title over an 18-0 Patriots squad...guys seem to be actually enjoying playing the game they love.
Mia Missives: Giant Crowd

So my first day of training camp was a record setting one. 2910. The most fans to ever show up for day 1 of Giants Training Camp. 1470 in the morning session followed by 1440 in the afternoon session. I would like to say that it was all me, but I know I know..the defending Super Bowl Champions WILL draw a crowd and they did not disappoint.

Carlin Chomp: The End Of An Era

It’s the end of an era. Yeah, it’s a little trite, but it’s true. I’m not going to lie – I was shocked when he decided to pack it in. But you have to give him a lot of credit. He could’ve come back, made more money than he will doing anything
